HISTORY: 1986 To Present...
The original Meter-Treater®, invented in 1986, was designed as a meter-based Surge Protective Device that could be marketed to residential customers. Over the years MTi has earned a reputation for quality products and friendly, responsive customer service. Today, MTi manufactures quality Surge Protective Devices for Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Utility and Remote applications which now includes a comprehensive line of Protectors for Signal, Data and Telephone Interfaces.

Assistance is available to help Utilities, Distributors and Representatives spread the word! A variety of materials including custom displays for table tops, brochures, door hangers, post card, punch out rolodex cards and tear off reply mailers make customer response easy. Media Kits and Desktop Publishing Services are also available to help meet your marketing needs.
Training
MTi provides Group Training Seminars for participating customers. Surge protection training improves utility personnel awareness and enthusiasm in the program. Installation training helps improve safety consciousness, speeds up installation time to as little as two minutes per meter can, and answers the most often asked installation questions. MTi has simple, easy to follow installation handouts (with photos) for companies that are beginning or have an ongoing MTi Power Quality Program.
Fully Equipped Testing Facility
Companies evaluating surge arrestors are invited to verify the performance of any of the products under consideration at our high energy test lab. Your personnel can operate the equipment and personally verify that the product(s) meet the power companies specifications. Potential safety and fire hazards can be identified under real high energy tests BEFORE a product is sent into the field. Companies can better substantiate their choice of the METER-TREATER® after seeing how it performs against high energy lightning type surges.
Lab Capabilities
Surges can be created and delivered safely in an excess of 100,000 Amps (many times the energy in an average lightning strike!). Supervision will be provided to ensure safe and accurate testing.
