Proximity Sensor Protectors

The HE-SL Series is specifically engineered to provide maximum protection for proximity sensors. These high-energy surge protection devices are designed to mount directly in parallel with control signal lines allowing for fast and orderly field retrofitting.

The HE-SL Series was developed in order to reduce the frequency of proximity sensor failures due to induced surge energies on messenger cables due to lightning induced by inductive, capacitive or resistive coupling and/or electrostatic buildup. Unit provides up to 8 wire Line to Ground Protection. Proper installation of the HE-SL Series can significantly reduce down time and damages due to unexpected surges.

Fingers can be removed, as shown, and wire leads (Up to AWG #10) can be soldered to the board. Standard boards include AWG # 14 black and AWG #14 green for ground. Custom colors and configurations are available.
