PVA Series

DC & Photovoltaic DIN-Mounted SPD with Replaceable Mods

The PVA Series SPD is UL recognized in accordance with the ANSI/UL 1449 5th Edition Standard as a DC SPD for use in DC and PV applications.

These Type 1CA & Type 2CA Surge Protection Devices are for use in Type 1, Type 2, Photovoltaic and DC Systems. They are pluggable devices designed with window fault indicators for easy monitoring and replacement.

The PVA SPD’s are available in 3 configurations; "I" (Single Mode), "V" (Common Mode) and "Y" (Differential Mode) making them perfect for multiple applications. They are highly reliable due to the patented thermally protected MOV’s employed. Units do not require additional front end safety fusing.

Common Mode ("V") Configuration is available for <600 Volt applications. For >600 Volt protection, a Differential Mode ("Y") SPD is recommended.

Differential Mode ("Y") Configuration is available for >600 Volt applications. "V" and "Y" models can also be combined for higher kA Rating.
